沿革

1995年	Johnson Controls Holding Company Inc.と、インド国内におけるシートシステムの設計・開発・エンジニアリング・生産に関する合弁会社を設立。
1997年	下記の合弁会社を設立。 -東洋ラジエーター (現ティラド) および三菱商事と、Tata Toyo Radiator Pvt. Ltd.を設立 -矢崎総業とTata Yazaki AutoComp Pvt. Ltd.を設立 -ニフコとTata Nifco Fasteners Pvt. Ltd.を設立
1997年	JBM Tools Ltd.の創設者S.K. Arya氏と共にJBM Tools Ltd.へ出資。2003年8月1日付で、社名をAutomotive Stampings and Assemblies Ltd.へ変更。
2000年	米国のOwens Corningと合弁会社Automotive Composite Systems (International) Pvt. Ltd.を設立。 *この会社は、2010年3月5日付でTACOのが子会社し、TACOCLへ社名変更。
2000年	二輪を含め、排気システムの設計開発・生産でユタカ技研と合弁会社Tata Yutaka AutoComp Pvt. Ltd.を設立。
2002年	Knorr Bremse Far East Ltd.とエアブレーキシステム生産の合弁会社Knorr Bremse Systems for Commercial Vehicles (India) Pvt. Ltd.を設立。
2004年	フランスのFaurecia Automotive Holdingsと、自動車用内装システムの設計サービスの合弁会社TACO Faurecia Design Center Pvt. Ltd.を設立。
2004年	完全子会社Tata Auto Plastic Systems Ltd.を4月1日付で併合。
2005年	ドイツのWundsch Weidinger GmbHを買収。
2005年	2月、シンガポールのMobiApps Holdings Pvt. Ltd.と合弁会社TACO MobiApps Telematics Ltd.を設立。
2005年	6月、米国のVisteon International Holding Inc.と合弁会社Tata Visteon Automotive Pvt. Ltd.およびTACO Visteon Engineering Pvt. Ltd.を設立。Tata Visteonは、パワートレインおよびライティング製品分野、一方TACO Engineering は、自動車部品の設計開発分野。
2005年	10月、GS Yuasa International Ltd.とTataAutoComp GY Batteries Pvt. Ltd.を設立。
2006年	6月、米国のHendrickson International Corporationと合弁会社TACO Hendrickson Suspensions Pvt. Ltd.を設立。
2006年	Gestamp Servicios, S.L. がAutomotive Stampings and Assemblies Ltd.に出資。
2006年	Tata Yutaka AutoComp Pvt. Ltd.の株式をユタカ技研へ譲渡。
2006年	10月、Tata Nifco Fasteners Ltd. (TNFL) は事業停止を決定。
2008年	10月、合弁会社TJCALは、ドイツのISRINGHAUSEN GmbH & Co. KGと合弁会社ISRI TJC Pvt. Ltd.を設立。
2009年	Technical Stampings and Automotive Ltd.の株式を譲渡。
2009年	Taco Faurecia Design Center Pvt. Ltd.の株式を譲渡。
2009年	IPM Inc. が保有するAutomotive Composite Systems (International) Ltd. (現TACOCL) の株式を取得し、完全子会社化。
2010年	Knorr Bremse Systems for Commercial Vehicles (India) Pvt. Ltd.を譲渡。
2010年	Gestamp Servicios, S.L.が保有する Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Ltd.の株式を取得。
2012年	Tata Yazaki AutoComp Limited (TYA) の全株式を矢崎総業に売却。
2013年	Tata Johnson Controls Automotive (TJCAL) の全株式をJohnson Controlsに売却。
2013年12月	同社とティラドの合弁会社Tata Toyo Radiatorは、Air International Thermal Systemsと折半出資合弁会社を設立。
2014年09月	Magna Internationalと、シートシステムの合弁会社を設立することで合意。
2014年10月	メキシコのKatcon Globalと、排気システムの合弁会社を設立することで合意。
2016年8月	パワートレイン冷却システムのサプライヤーであるTitanX Engine Coolingを買収。
2017年1月	Titanx Engine Coolingの買収を完了。
2019年3月	Tritium Pty Ltd.と覚書を締結。
2019年4月	国軒高科との合弁会社を設立。
2019年6月	SECO Seojinとの合弁会社を設立。
2020年1月	EVパワートレイン事業で北京佩特来電器有限公司と合弁契約を締結。バッテリーパックおよびモーターの生産でTata Motorsと協業。
2020年6月	米国のTellus Power GreenとACおよびDC急速充電器導入に関する覚書を締結。
2022年02月	Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Limited (ASAL) の工場で生産を開始。
2022年09月	Punch Powertrainとの合弁会社を設立
2024年11月	Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Limited (ASAL) がグジャラート州Sanandで工場を開設。 TM Automotive SeatingがWoodbridge Foam Indiaとの合弁事業を発表。
