-公司全球战略的一个方针是实现所有运营区域的销售平衡，减少对欧洲市场的依赖。欧洲和北美汽车市场及轮胎市场已基本饱和的问题也加剧其区域了这一担忧。为此，该公司致力于扩大以亚洲为主的新兴市场的销售，并改善各地区营收占比平衡。这一战略也从欧洲销售额占比的稳步下降中得到印证，公司的欧洲销售额占比从2011年度(截至2011年12月)的59.3%降至2024年度(截至2024年12月)的49.2%。

1871年	Continental-Caoutchouc-und Gutta-Percha Compagnie在德国Hanover成立。
1892年	生产自行车用空气填充式。(德国首次)
1898年	在Hanover-Vahrenwald投产汽车用空气轮胎。
1904年	发布先进的带胎面花纹的汽车用轮胎。
1928年/1929年	与德国首屈一指的橡胶公司合并，成立Continental Gummi-Werke AG。
1943年	申请无内胎轮胎的专利。
1955年	量产化无内胎轮胎。(德国首次) 开发卡车、客车用空气弹簧。(德国首次)
1960年	量产化辐射型轮胎。
1961年	Dannenberg工厂竣工，开始生产汽车塑料零部件。
1964年	在Sarreguemines(法国)建造轮胎工厂。
1967年	在Contidrom设立测试中心。
1971年	Korbach工厂成立。
1972年	发表无钉防滑轮胎“ContiContact”。
1975年	投产V-带。
1976年	在Northeim建立欧洲最大的传送带工厂。
1979年	收购Uniroyal Inc(美国)的欧洲轮胎业务，取得其在比利时、德国、法国和英国的轮胎工厂。
1983年	发表乘用车用ContiTyreSystem。量产防振、降低噪音的发动机特殊轴承零部件的液力悬置装置。
1985年	收购Semperit(奥地利)的轮胎业务，成立Semperit Reifen AG。取得Traiskirchen(澳大利亚)以及Dublin(爱尔兰)的工厂。(爱尔兰工厂于1996年关闭)
1987年	收购General Tire Inc(美国俄亥俄州)。取得美国(2)、墨西哥(2)的生产基地。(墨西哥的2个基地于1993年转让)。
1988年	收购法国的大型软管耦合器供应商Anoflex Group。
1990年	与Mabor(葡萄牙)合资成立轮胎生产公司。
1991年	与东洋橡胶、横滨橡胶在北美成立合资公司(现公司名GTY)。生产商用车轮胎。重组为29个普通工业产品独立公司。品牌名称统一为"康迪泰克"。发布省油、耐久性强的“Conti Eco Contact”。
1997年	发布Integrated Starter Alternator Damper。
1998年	法兰克福的Alfred Teves GmbH(包括工厂、研究中心和测试场地)与Continental Automotive Systems部门合并。
1998/99年	与阿根廷的Fate进行技术移交，与斯洛伐克的Matador公司进行商用车轮胎的制造的合资，取得墨西哥Grupo Carso的制造设备及销售网点、取得目前改名为Continental Tyre South Africa的南非Gen Tyre的60%股份等，提高了在全球轮胎市场的地位。在巴西Juiz de Fora成立欧洲以外的首家完全车轮组装工厂。为了推进康迪泰克的国际化，收购了智利、墨西哥的传送带工厂，并扩建巴西、墨西哥和匈牙利的生产设备。
2000年	罗马尼亚Timosoara的乘用车轮胎新工厂开始运作。在供应日本、韩国市场的制动器、底盘及系统领域，Continental Teves与日清纺进行合作。
2001年	收购Nuremberg的Temic GmbH。 Continental Teves Corporation, Japan取得制动・执行器零部件、盘式制动的制造公司Shin-Ei以及ShinTec的半数以上股份。康迪泰克取得其中国合资公司ContiTech Grand Ocean过半数的股份。
2002年	与普利司通在安全轮胎领域展开合作。与横滨橡胶就未来在轮胎业务上进行紧密合作达成一致。为了促进在日本汽车市场展开活动，成立50：50股比的合资公司。
2003年	马来西亚的企业集团Sime Darby Berhad成立合资公司。康迪泰克在韩国建立波纹管合资公司。
2004年	在罗马尼亚Sibiu成立包括研发中心在内的汽车电子设备组装工厂，扩大产能。从在中国的日本企业手中购得其车轮传感器业务部。在墨西哥新建制造制动器零部件的工厂。
2005年	收购Phoenix AG。
2006年	开始在斯洛伐克Zvolen新工厂生产制动卡钳、在巴西Camacar开始生产乘用车、轻卡以及商用车轮胎。康迪泰克收购丹麦的包边式传送带供应商。收购Motorola的汽车电子业务部。
2007年	取得斯洛伐克的Continental Matador Rubber s.r.o.半数以上股份。收购Siemens VDO Automotive AG，在汽车零部件业界挤入全球前五。
2008年7月	舍弗勒提议收购公司。8月，公司表示满足一定条件的话，会接受收购案。
2011年8月	乘用车・轻卡轮胎部门和商用车轮胎部门合并为1个部门。
2012年	与SK Innovation (韩国)成立合资公司SK Continental E-motion。将面向乘用车、轻型商用车开发和产销锂离子电池系统。
