沿革

1946年09月	会社設立。
1961年01月	大円鋼業 (株) に社名変更。
1966年09月	自動車用シートを開発。
1967年08月	大円製鋼 (株)[Daewon Cast Steel Co.,Ltd.]を設立。
1977年06月	株式公開。
1979年05月	昌原 (Changwon) 工場が稼働開始。
1983年10月	大円精密工業 (株)[Daewon Precision Ind. Co., Ltd.]を設立。
1985年02月	朱安 (Juan) 工場が稼働開始。
1986年11月	大円技術研究所を設立。
1992年05月	(株) 大円総業[Daewon Chong Up Corp.]を設立。
1992年07月	Poscoと合弁で、(株) 大庚特殊鋼[Dae Kyeong Special Steel Co., Ltd.]を設立。
1994年06月	昌原 (Changwon) 第2工場が稼働開始。
1996年07月	天安 (Cheonan) 工場が稼働開始。
1997月07月	ポーランドのDMP社との合弁で、D&D Springs Poland社を設立。
1997年12月	成歡 (Seonghwang) 工場が稼働開始。
2003年03月	ContiTech (ドイツ) との合弁でContitech Daewon Airspring Systems Co., Ltd.を設立。
2005年01月	世潤鉄鋼 (株)[Seyun Steel Co., Ltd.]を設立。
2005年03月	北京大円亜細亜汽車科技有限公司[Beijing Daewon Asia Automobile Science & Technology Co., Ltd.].を設立。
2006年11月	Daewon America, Inc.を設立。
2007年12月	インドにDaewon India Autoparts Private Limitedを設立。
2008年05月	ロシア連邦にDaewon Severstal Auto Elabugaを設立。
2009年01月	現代・起亜自動車より2008年サプライヤー大賞を受賞。
2010年03月	GMより「優秀サプライヤー賞」を4年連続で受賞 (2006-2009年度)。
2012年04月	中国の江蘇省に江蘇大円亜細亜汽車弾簧有限公司[Jiangsu Daewon Asia Auto Spring Co., Ltd.]を設立。
2013年10月	Avtovazとの合弁でロシアにDaewon-Avtovaz Agregat Seats LLCを設立。
2014年09月	ロシアのDaewon-Avtovaz Agregat Seats LLCを完全子会社化。
2014年12月	ロシアのDaewon-Avtovaz Agregat Seats LLCが社名をDaewon Spring & Seat LLCに変更。
2014年12月	ロシアのDaeWon Sollers LLCを清算。
2015年10月	メキシコにDaewon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V.を設立。
2016年03月	昌原 (Changwon) 第2工場を咸安(Haman) 郡に移転。
2021年04月	「北京大円亜細亜汽車科技有限公司」と「江蘇大円亜細亜汽車弹簧有限公司」の株式各70%を売却。
