History

Aug. 1930 Established by Soichi Ogawa as Pacific Industrial partnership in Goden Town, Ohgaki City and started manufacturing automobile valve cores.
Apr. 1938 Incorporated and established Minami Ohgaki plant in Miwa Town, Ohgaki Cityto manufacture aircraft and automobile tire valves, valve cores and other products.
Aug. 1946 Started manufacturing automobile stamped products.
May 1953 Purchased Pacific Commerce Corporation.
Nov. 1960 Established Nishi-Ohgaki plant in Kyutoku-cho, Ohgaki City.
Oct. 1961 Established an affiliate company, Pacific Engineering Corp. (currently, a company applicable to the equity method).
Started manufacturing rivets, auto fuses, etc.
Nov. 1962 Listed on the Second Section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange.
Oct. 1963 Listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Nov. 1963 Relocated its headquarters to Kyutoku-cho, Ohgaki City.
Aug. 1970 Listed on the First Sections of both the Tokyo and Nagoya Stock Exchanges.
Apr. 1972 Established an affiliate company, Pacific Development Co., Ltd. (current consolidated company)
Sep. 1972 Established Kita-Ohgaki plant in Godo-Cho, Ampachi-Gun, Gifu Prefecture.
Tire valve and valve core manufacturing divisions were relocated from Minami-Ohgaki plant.
Dec. 1974 Established an affiliate company, Pacific Industry Co., Ltd. (current consolidated company).
Took over of Pacific Development Co., Ltd.`s business.
Mar. 1977 Started manufacturing automobile air conditioners and refrigerant-control equipment for household air conditioners.
Sep. 1977 Established Mino plant in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture.
Transferred part of the tire valve and valve core manufacturing divisions.
Sep. 1982 Established Yohroh plant in Yohroh-Cho, Yohroh-Gun, Gifu Prefecture to
manufacture stamping dies.
June 1984 Established a joint venture, Pacific Value (Taiwan) Co., Ltd. (current consolidated company) in Taiwan.
May 1987 Established a joint company, Pacific Valve Industrial Co., Ltd. (current consolidated company) in Korea..
July 1988 Established Pacific Industries USA Inc. (current consolidated company) in Ohio, USA
Ma. 1989 Established an affiliate company, Pacific Industries (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (current consolidated company)
Apr. 1990 Established an affiliate company, Ogaki Industries (Taiwan) Co., Ltd., in Taiwan.
Nov. 1990 Established Higashi-Ohgaki plant in Higashi-Ohgaki, Gifu Prefecture.
Transferred the resin products division.
Feb. 1991 Established Yohroh second plant in Yohroh-Gun, Gifu Prefecture.
Transferred part of the stamping and resin products division.
May 1994 Closed Minami-Ohgaki plant.
Relocated the electric equipment manufacturing division to Kita-Ohgaki plant, and the stamped and resin product manufacturing division to Higashi-Ohgaki plant.
Apr. 1997 The Company's affiliate, Pacific Value (Taiwan) Co., Ltd., merged with another affiliate, Ogaki Industries (Taiwan) Co., Ltd.
July 1999 Established Pacific Industries Air Controls Inc. and Pacific Manufacturing Ohio Inc. (current consolidated company).
Holding company was the Company's affiliate, Pacific Industries USA Inc. Manufacturing and sale of valves for tires was transferred to Pacific Industries Air Controls.
Oct. 2000 Established a joint venture, Qingdao Pacific Hongfeng Industrial (China) Co., Ltd. (current consolidated company) in China.
Jan. 2001 Started sales of direct tire pressure monitoring systems.
Feb. 2001 Established a joint venture, Takumi Stamping Inc. (current equity method affiliated company).
Aug. 2001 Built a head quarters building in Kyuutokucho, Ohgaki City.
Sep. 2004 Pacific Valve Industrial Co., Ltd. (Korea) established Pacific Air Control Industrial Co., Ltd. (current non-consolidated company) in Korea
Apr. 2005 The Company established Tianjin Pacific Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (current consolidated company) in China.
Dec. 2006 The Company built the No. 3 facility at its Higashi Ogaki Plant, and started manufacturing stamping parts and resin products at this new building.
Jan. 2007 The Company established its Kyushu Plant in Kurate-Gun, Fukuoka Prefecture, transferring part of its stamping components divisions and resin product division to the new facility.
Apr. 2007 The Company's affiliate, Pacific Manufacturing Ohio Inc., merged with another affiliate, Pacific Industries Air Controls Inc.
Sep. 2007 Made Pacific Air Control Industrial Co., Ltd. its directly owned subsidiary, through undertaking a capital increase.
May 2008 Expanded Higashi Ogaki No.3 Plant to add stamping, welding and paint lines for oil pan production.
Nov. 2008 Expanded Kyushu Plant to add stamping and welding lines.
Mar. 2009 Acquired all shares of Juji Kogyo Co., Ltd. turning it into its subsidiary (current non-consolidated subsidiary)
May 2010 Established Tohoku Plant in Kurihara City, Miyagi Pref. Transferred part of the Company’s stamping/resin products business to the new plant. 
Sep. 2010 Juji Kogyo Co., Ltd. was merged into Taiheiyo Sangyo Co., Ltd.
Nov. 2011 Established Changsha Pacific Hanya Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (currently a consolidated subsidiary) through a joint venture.
Nov. 2011 Sold off the financial stake in its affiliated company Qingdao Pacific Hongfeng Industrial Co., Ltd.
Mar. 2012 Approved establishing two affiliated companies at its board of directors meeting: Pacific Industries Europe NV/SA in Belgium, and Pacific Industries China Corporation.
May 2012 Established Pacific Industries Europe NV/SA in Belgium.
Jun. 2012 Established Pacific Industries China Corporation in China.
Jun. 2014 Established Pacific Industries China Corporation in China.
Jul. 2014 Established Pacific Auto Parts Technology (Changshu) Co., Ltd. in China.
Jul. 2014 Established Pacific Manufacturing Tennessee, Inc. in USA.
Nov. 2014 Established Pacific Auto Parts (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a joint venture which is a consolidated subsidiary.
Sep. 2015 Sold the shares in Taiheiyo Kouhatsu Inc, an affiliated company.
Aug. 2018 Acquired all stock shares in August France Holding Company SAS and turned its subsidiary Schrader into a subsidiary (currently a consolidated subsidiary).
Aug. 2018 Pacific Industries USA Inc. acquired all the stock shares of Schrader-Bridgeport International, Inc. and turned it into a subsidiary (currently a consolidated subsidiary).
Nov. 2020 Merged Pacific Auto Parts (Thailand) Co., Ltd. into Pacific Industries (Thailand) Co., Ltd., which is the surviving company and currently a consolidated subsidiary.
Jun. 2021 Affiliated company SCHRADER SAS acquired and absorbed the business operations of another affiliated company, AUGUST FRANCE HOLDING COMPANY SAS
