Indian passenger vehicle sales increase by 3.7% in March 2025
Indian passenger vehicle sales in March 2025 were up 3.7% y/y to 329,742 units.
Based on the release of carmakers, the available sales results of PVs and CVs are as follows:
Maruti Suzuki sales of 153,134 units decreased 2.0% in March compared to the same month in 2024. Tata sales of 90,500 units decreased 0.4% from last year. Mahindra sales of 70,536 units increased 17.5% from last year. Hyundai sales of 51,820 units decreased 2.2% from last year. Toyota sales of 28,373 units increased 13.0% from last year. Honda sales of 7,228 units increased 2.2% from last year. Kia sales of 25,525 units increased 19.3% from last year.

Indian passenger vehicle sales in February 2025 were up 3.7% y/y to 331,254 units.
Based on the release of carmakers, the available sales results of PVs and CVs are as follows:
Maruti Suzuki sales of 163,501 units increased 0.1% in February compared to the same month in 2024. Tata sales of 77,232 units decreased 9.0% from last year. Mahindra sales of 72,865 units increased 13.7% from last year. Hyundai sales of 47,727 units decreased 4.9% from last year. Toyota sales of 26,414 units increased 13.4% from last year. Honda sales of 5,616 units decreased 21.4% from last year. Kia sales of 25,026 units increased 23.9% from last year.

Indian passenger vehicle sales increase by 3.5% in January 2025
Indian passenger vehicle sales in January 2025 were up 3.5% y/y to 351,310 units.
Based on the release of carmakers, the available sales results of PVs and CVs are as follows:
Maruti Suzuki sales of 177,688 units increased 4.4% in January compared to the same month in 2024. Tata sales of 78,159 units decreased 7.3% from last year. Mahindra sales of 73,409 units increased 12.2% from last year. Hyundai sales of 54,003 units decreased 5.4% from last year. Toyota sales of 26,178 units increased 12.9% from last year. Honda sales of 7,325 units decreased 15.6% from last year. Kia sales of 25,025 units increased 5.3% from last year.
