U.S. NHTSA closes braking probe of GM's Cruise robotaxis
On August 22, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced it was closing its hard braking and immobilisation probe of the 1,194 robotaxis operated by GM’s Cruise unit after a recall was issued to resolve issues related to hard braking and immobilization of the self-driving vehicles.
