Business Overview
-The Company develops and manufactures highly engineered electrical and electronic components, modules and systems for the automotive, commercial vehicle, motorcycle, agricultural and off-highway vehicle markets. Its solutions enhance vehicle intelligence, increase vehicle efficiency, reduce emissions, and improve safety and security.
-The Company is organized into three reportable business segments as follows:
- Control Devices: The segment designs and manufactures actuators, sensors, switches and connectors to monitor, measure and manage specific vehicle functions for primarily the passenger vehicle market, as well as the commercial vehicle and agricultural markets to a lesser extent.
- Electronics: The segment designs and manufactures driver information systems, vision and safety systems, connectivity and compliance systems, and ECUs primarily for the commercial vehicle and off-highway markets.
- Stoneridge Brazil: The segment designs, manufactures and sells vehicle tracking devices, monitoring services, vehicle security alarms, convenience accessories, in-vehicle audio and video devices, driver information systems and telematics solutions primarily for the South American automotive and commercial vehicle original equipment market and aftermarket.
