Business Overview

-A subsidiary of China Changan Automobile Group, mainly engaged in the development, production and sales of automobile engines, transmissions and related components.

-The products cover many market areas such as high-end sedans, SUVs, MPVs, pickup trucks, passenger cars, light-duty trucks, and all-terrain vehicles. Main customers include Changan, Foton, Li Auto, Dongfeng, BAC, Chery, Geely, JAC, Leapmotor, Shaanxi Automobile Group Commercial Vehicle, and ENOVATE Auto.

-In January 2021, the Company completed the acquisition of equity interest in Harbin Dongan Automotive Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (DAE), and the current shareholding ratio is 55.64%. In September, the company reorganized and integrated with DAE. The Company established three business divisions: engines, range extender drive systems for New Energy Vehicles, and transmission systems to develop business for powertrains.

-In 2022, the Company sold 613,400 units of engines and transmissions, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 8.6%. Engine sales were 507,500 units.

History

Oct. 1998	Founded by Harbin Dongan Engine (Group) Co., Ltd. The Company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE).
May 1999	Capital participation in Harbin Dongan Engine (Group) Co., Ltd.
Aug. 2002	Capital participation in Harbin Dongan Liyuan Piston Co., Ltd. with an investment ratio of 35%.
July 2003	AVIC Technology & Industry Co., Ltd. became the largest shareholder of the Company.
Mar 2006	The company set up Harbin Hafei Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd. with Harbin Motor Co., Ltd.
Apr. 2006	The Company invested in Harbin Dongan Huafu Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which produces intake manifolds.
Dec. 2009	The company became a subsidiary of China Changan Automobile Group.
May 2014	Harbin Dongan Auto Engine Co., Ltd. Transmission Branch was established.
Apr. 2016	Harbin Dongan Liyuan Piston Co., Ltd. was dissolved.
