BASF invests in new semiconductor-grade sulfuric acid plant in Ludwigshafen, Germany
On April 29, BASF announced that it will expand its production capacity for semiconductor-grade sulfuric acid (H2SO4) at its Ludwigshafen site in Germany. It will start operations in 2027. The BASF investment will be in a high double-digit million-euro range.
