Rivian shuts down product development operations in its bid to slow down COVID-19
On March 20, EV-startup Rivian tweeted that it has temporarily shut down all company facilities due to the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, but did not provide information for when they would be reopened.
The company said both salaried and hourly employees will continue to be paid during the shutdown.
