History

May, 1954 The Company began producing motorcycle seats as Teito Fuhaku Kogyo Corporation's seat division in Nakano Ward, Tokyo.
Jul. 1955 Teito Fuhaku Kogyo Corporation's seat division established a factory in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Feb. 1960 Teito Fuhaku Kogyo Corporation's seat division established a factory in Asaka, Saitama Prefecture.
Dec. 1960 Tokyo Seat Co., Ltd. was established, taking over all operations of Teito Fuhaku Kogyo Corporation's seat division.
Mar. 1962 The Company established its Suzuka Plant in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture.
Jun. 1963 The Company started producing seats for four-wheel vehicles at the Asaka plant (now called Saitama plant).
