The C-HR launched in December 14, 2016 is Toyota's global strategic SUV car. It adopts the short wheelbase platform from the new TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) C-platform, which has been adopted since the 4th generation Prius was launched in April 2015. Safety features include SRS airbags, SRS side airbags, and SRS curtain shield airbags as standard features on all models, and a number of active safety features such as collision damage mitigation braking as part of the Toyota Safety Sense P package also featured as standard equipment on all models.
This teardown analysis report presents the electronic components equipped on the C-HR, focusing mainly on the active safety components, and introduces the latest ADAS features.
