The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for December 2021.
Retail
December retail sales of passenger cars totaled 2.105 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decline of 7.9%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In December, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 505,000 units, up by 138.9% y/y.
