The 2013 Shanghai Motor Show (The 15th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition) was held in Shanghai through 21-29, April 2013 (Press day on the 20th). This is the first of three-part series of MarkLines' reports covering new models that is planned to be launched in 2013 and later, including 111 models and concept cars of production models.
This report is the first report that summarizes the details of new models that were showcased by seven major state-run OEMs - SAIC Motor Corp., Dongfeng Motor Corp., FAW Group, Changan Automobile Group, BAIC Group (Beijing Automobile), GAC Group (Guangzhou Automobile) and Fujian Motor Group.
The second report summarizes the exhibition by major emerging Chinese OEMs including Chery Automobile, Geely Holding Group (Geely Automobile), Great Wall Motor, BYD Auto, Brilliance Auto and Jianghuai Automobile Group (JAC). Lastly, the third report summarizes the details of exhibition by each foreign OEM - major Japanese, US, European and Korean OEMs including Toyota, Nissan, Honda, VW, GM and Hyundai.
