On the contrary, production volume of other vehicles increased both on a year-over-year and month-over-month bases, with electric special-purpose vehicles having the highest increase. Production volume of passenger EVs consecutively accounted for more than 50% of the new energy production share. Production volume of electric special-purpose vehicles exceeded 2,000 units and accounted for 5% (significantly increasing from the previous month of less than 1%) of the new energy production share. Production volume in the January to June 2016 period nearly doubled year-over-year, exceeding 150,000 units.
