South Africa auto sales up 18.7% in June, up 13.6% in H1 2025
On July 1, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA) announced that sales of new passenger and commercial vehicles in South Africa decreased 18.7% year-on-year to 47,294 units in June 2025. In the first half of 2025 sales volume increased 13.6% year-over-year to 278,911 units.
