U.S. Senate report reveals use of banned Chinese parts by BMW, other carmakers
On May 20, the U.S. Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden announced that BMW imported at least 8,000 Mini Coopers into the U.S. with components from a banned Chinese supplier, violating a 2021 law and continuing until at least April 2024.
