On July 9, Tropos Technologies, Inc. and MOSOLF, one of Europe’s largest automotive logistics and service providers, announced an agreement to form Tropos Motors Europe to sell Tropos Motors-branded all-electric compact utility vehicles (eCUVs) and trucks in Europe.
The two companies have formed Tropos Motors Europe GmbH, to be based in Germany. A factory site to build Tropos Motors eCUVs has been selected near Dortmund. An initial order has been placed, and Tropos Motors Europe has plans to produce thousands of vehicles over the next five years for Europe and other global markets.
Tropos Technologies, based in Silicon Valley, develops and manufactures eCUVs and trucks under the Tropos brand and until now has primarily focused on United States market.
