U.S. auto sales decline 0.2% in May
U.S. new vehicle sales of 1,590,217 units for the month of May represented a decline of 0.2% from May 2018.
May’s passenger car sales fell 10.4% to 474,138 units, while SUV and truck sales increased 5.0% to 1,116,079 units.
May had an overall SAAR of 17.40 million units compared to 16.90 million units in May 2018.
