The 2025 Detroit Auto Show (January 10 - 20, 2025), formerly the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), marked a bold transformation, prioritizing customer experiences and interactivity. Attendees were immersed in dynamic indoor obstacle courses highlighting the off-road capabilities of the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler. These courses featured challenges such as steep inclines, rocky terrain, and other off-road simulations.
Adding to the excitement, two interactive test tracks were offered hands-on driving experiences. The Detroit Grand Prix-sponsored track featured high-performance vehicles from Mazda, Volkswagen, Honda, Buick, and Ford, allowing participants to explore acceleration and handling on a performance-focused course. Meanwhile, the EV-specific track, powered by Powering Michigan NECA(National Electrical Contractors Association), spotlighted electric models from Cadillac, GMC, Chevrolet, BMW, and Rivian, emphasizing regenerative braking, instant torque, and innovative battery technologies.
This year’s show underscored the industry’s shift toward electrification, performance, and engaging customer experiences, redefining the role of auto shows in connecting with the public.
