Indonesian sales up 15.2% in November

Indonesian automobile manufacturers association (Gaikindo) and other sources reported that Indonesian vehicle sales in November were 100,125 units up 15.2% year over year. It was the 8th consecutive month of increases this year.
January - November sales were up 3.7% to 974,972 units.
By automaker sales in November, Toyota was up 36.8% y/y to 40,515 units and Daihatsu was up 42.2% to 20,107 units. Honda was up 10.6% to 16,501 units. Suzuki was down 7.8% to 8,568 units. Mitsubishi was down 9.6% to 7,887 units.
Toyota, Daihatsu sales were very strong with recently launched new models (Toyota Cayla and Daihatsu Sigra).
