Summary
With rapid motorization, vehicle sales in China (*Note 1), especially of passenger cars, are growing amazingly, exceeding two million units in 2000, five million units in 2004 and ten million units in 2009. In 2013, it has achieved 21.98 million units, largely surpassing the 20 million-unit mark. This report compiles 2013 vehicle sales results in China by vehicle type, Chinese OEM group, and by brand and model.
Note 1: All the sales figures in this report are based on the shipment from factories and include exports, but not imports.
