Why Cars Can and
Must Be Fully Recycled
The automotive industry must take its sustainability responsibilities seriously and it is in a relatively good position to do so. Current legislation requires up to 95 % of all the components of a car to be either reusable or recyclable. Researchers, manufacturers and automotive industry suppliers are cooperating on a range of projects to demonstrate that a completely circular economy is possible.
