Mercedes Benz launches electric drive unit production for new CLA at Untertürkheim plant
On June 30, Mercedes Benz started producing electric drive units and axles for the new electric CLA at its Stuttgart-Untertürkheim plant. These parts are sent to the Rastatt plant, where the new CLA will be built. The Kuppenheim plant supplies body parts, while Kamenz plant provides the batteries.
