AvtoVAZ, Russia acquires Toyota Tsusho and Atsumitec JV plant
On August 10, multiple sources reported that AvtoVAZ had acquired the former joint venture plant “Atsumitek Toyota Tsuse Rus LLC (ATC Rus LLC)” of Japanese companies Toyota Tsusho (65%) and Atsumitec (35%) in the Togliatti SEZ. The plant can produce 400,000 manual and automatic transmission drives.
