Nissan idles output at U.S., Mexican plants due to semiconductor supply disruptions
On March 19, Nissan Motor announced it has temporarily suspended operations at three factories in North America due to a shortage of semiconductors, with production resuming on March 23 and March 24.
At the Smyrna plant in Tennessee, production of the Altima sedan will be suspended through March 22.
