German OEMs produce record 1.4 million vehicles in NAFTA region in 2017
In 2017, German manufacturers in NAFTA built over 1.4 million light vehicles, a record figure representing an 11% increase compared to 2016.
Of those vehicles, 56% were built in U.S. plants, while 44 % were built in Mexican plants, where production totaled almost 620,000 units, with 461,248 units produced in the VW ....
