Ford to invest USD 1.6 billion for new plant in Mexico
On April 5, Ford Motor Co. announced that it is investing USD 1.6 billion to build a new manufacturing plant in San Luis Potosi State, Mexico for small car assembly.
Construction will begin this summer, with production expected to begin in 2018.
The new plant will create 2,800 direct jobs by 2020.
