Ford invests USD 2.5 billion new engine, transmission plants in Mexico
Ford announced on April 17 that it is investing USD 2.5 billion in Mexico with three projects, creating 3,800 jobs in total.
The new engine facility is being built within Ford’s Chihuahua Engine Plant, and will produce a new gasoline-powered engine. This USD 1.1 billion investment will create 1,300 new jobs.
