- Engine: The segment manufactures diesel, natural gas and gasoline-powered engines for on-highway and off-highway vehicles including medium-duty and heavy-duty buses and trucks, passenger vehicles, agricultural equipment, mining vehicles, and marine vehicles.
- Power Systems: The segment manufactures high-speed high-horsepower engines for applications including mining, rail, defense, and commercial marine. The segment provides power generators for consumer, commercial, industrial, data centers, and health care applications. It also designs, manufactures and supports A/C generator/alternator products and components.
- Components: The segment is divided into four businesses: Components and software, which produces turbochargers, fuel systems, and valvetrain technologies, as well as electronic control modules, sensors, power electronics and supporting software; Emission solutions, which designs and manufactures exhaust aftertreatment technologies and solutions; Drivetrain and braking systems, which designs and manufactures drivetrain systems including axles, drivelines, brakes and suspension systems; and Automated transmissions, which develops and supplies automated transmissions for heavy duty commercial vehicles.
- Distribution: The segment provides sales, services and support for the full range of the Company’s products.
- Accelera: The segment designs, manufactures, sells and supports electrified power systems including fully electric and hybrid systems. It also designs and manufactures battery modules, packs and systems for commercial, industrial and material handling applications. The segment designs, manufactures and supports hydrogen production solutions.
-Of the Company’s five business segments, the Engine segment, Components segment and Accelera Segment supply products to the automotive industry.
-On March 18, 2024, the Company completed the divestiture of its remaining 80.5% ownership of Atmus Filtration Technologies Inc. common stock, resulting in a reduction of shares of the Company’s common outstanding stock by 5.6 million shares and an increase in sales of USD 1.3 billion. Atmus previously operated as a business within the Company’s Components segment.
-During 2025, as a result of weakening conditions in hydrogen electrolyzers and the hydrogen market overall, the Company’s Accelera segment announced its plans to stop new commercial activity related to electrolyzers and only fulfill existing customer commitments.
