1941 Filterwerk Mann+Hummel GmbH founded in Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart, Germany, by Adolf Mann and Dr. Erich Hummel.

The humidifier provides an adequate level of humidity by transferring water vapor from the exhaust air to the intake air, protecting the fuel cell membranes against drying out. The flat-sheet membrane concept ensures low pressure loss.
