"The Bosch ConnectedWorld (BCW) is an annual event that has been taking place since 2014. After nine editions, BCW has established itself as a leading event in digital business, AI, IoT, and digital transformation. Held at STATION-Berlin, in the central area of the German capital, this year's ConnectedWorld was attended by over 3,200 people onsite and over 8,500 people online.

A total of 42 exhibition partners, 14 Bosch partners, and 24 startups specializing in fields like AI, green tech, sustainability, robotics, and automated driving were present at the event, showcasing their solutions and promoting discussions on this year's main topic: AI. The focus was directed towards the advancement of AI as a catalyst for sustainability and innovations through collaboration and partnerships.

The event also promoted AI and IoT Hackathons, where the global community of developers, product owners, product managers, UX experts, entrepreneurs, and innovators had the chance to experience a hands-on approach to designing and developing connected products, apps, and services, networking, and technological exchange.

The presentations at the event were distributed across an array of focal themes that integrate the AI & Data scope. The themes are digital.mobility/digital.auto, digital.industry, digital.building, and digital.home, and they all have sustainability, culture, and digital business & innovation as core values at this year's BCW.

A theme that was often discussed in the last Bosch ConnectedWorld event and that is still extremely relevant for the automotive industry is the software-defined vehicle. The SDV is a product that can evolve its functions over time, updating and upgrading functions and services to provide better experiences to customers. The management of this technology will redefine the vehicle's value and the driving experience and is one of the bases for the mobility evolution on a global scale.
