The Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's largest trade show for consumer electronics and digital technology, was held January 5-8, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. (Last year, many companies did not exhibit due to the spread of COVID just before the show, but this year, for the first time in a long time, the show seems to have returned to an exhibition-based show.)

In the CES 2022 HMI report, we wrote, "There is a feeling that ‘EV announcements at CES’ will trend in the future”, and this year's CES saw the unveiling of many high-profile EVs (electric vehicles) in precisely that vein. This paper reports on the HMI (human machine interface) of EV concept cars covered online as a preliminary report from CES.
