1919年	公司成立。第二次世界大战中国营化后，1950年后半向南美进发。
1994年	在中国成立仪表盘合资公司。
1995年	在中国成立第二家仪表盘合资公司。
1996年	在阿根廷成立Magneti Marelli Sistemas de Escape，生产排气系统。
1997年	在中国成立发动机控制方面的合资公司。
1998年	Shanghai Magneti Marelli(中国)开始生产仪表盘。在中国的合资公司Shiyan Magneti Marelli Dong Feng Auto Fueling Compnents Co.Ltd.开始生产发动机控制系统。
1998年07月	将公司持有的合资公司Arvin-COFAP的股份换Arvin在意大利的灯控生产基地。
1999年03月	将电机业务部80%的股份出售给电装。
2000年01月	将润滑材料业务部(菲亚特 Lubricants group)出售给Doughty Hanson(英国)。
2004年07月	将公司在欧洲和中南美的Midas资产出售给Norauto集团。
2004年11月	取得菲亚特等汽车制造商的战略性配件供应商Sistemi Elettronici的资产。
2005年09月	与奥托立夫就高科技汽车安全系统用电子机器签订协议。
2007年09月	与奇瑞汽车(Chery Automobile Co., Ltd.)签订合同，在中国成立合资公司，向奇瑞和其它汽车制造商提供Selespeed手自一体变速器(AMT)用液压元件。
2007年10月	公司与Suzuki Motor Corporation、Maruti Suzuki India Limited达成协议，在印度成立合资公司，生产柴油发动机的电子控制单元。
2008年01月	公司与印度企业Sumi Motherson Group达成协议，在印度成立合资公司，生产汽车照明系统和发动机控制系统。
2008年02月	宣布在印度成立两家汽车排气系统生产公司。一家合作伙伴为SKH Metals Limited，另一家为SKH Sheet Metal Components Limited，出资方式均为50：50。
2008年06月	公司与Endurance Technologies Pvt.Ltd.达成协议，在印度或者泰国成立合资公司，生产减震器。
2008年09月	公司与Unitech Machines Limited达成协议，在印度成立合资公司，生产车载电子系统。
2012年01月	与Talbros Automotive Components Limited在印度成立悬架系统生产合资公司。
2012年04月	与Changchun Fudi Equipment Technology Development Co. Ltd.在中国成立动力总成零部件制造合资公司。
2012年06月	旗下子公司Sistemi Sospensioni S.p.A.与Promatcor Inc.在墨西哥成立悬架系统生产公司。
2012年11月	JAC与合肥凌大塘集体资产经营有限责任公司 (Hefei Lingdatang Collective Assets Management)在中国成立排气系统制造合资公司。
2013年10月	与中国南方工业集团公司 (CSI) 合资在中国成立大灯/尾灯的生产型公司。
2014年06月	与Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd. (SMIL) 开展印度合资事业。SMIL取得Magneti Marelli Shock Absorbers India Private Limited. 50%的股份。
2014年06月	与韩国汽车橡胶配套厂DTR Corporation达成一致，将收购意大利CF Gomma，开启合资事业。
2015年12月	与中国投资公司长春富迪装备技术开发有限公司 [Changchun Fudi Equipment Technology Development (FUDI)] 在中国成立车灯系统产销合资公司。
2017年09月	收购开发激光雷达技术的LeddarTech Inc.。
