History

Dec. 1946 Established Nippon Seiki Co., Ltd. in a town that what was formerly called Zaoh (currently Matsuba), Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.
Started manufacturing and sales of clocks and instruments (meters).
Oct. 1951 Established new main plant in Kita-Nakajima (currently Nakajima Town), Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture and moved head office to the site.
Sep. 1955 Moved head office and plant to Nishi-Shinmachi (currently Shirooka), Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.
Dec. 1970 Moved head office and plant to the present location.
Dec. 1970 Established Matto Plant in Ojiya City, Niigata Pref.
Jul. 1971 Reorganized its Matto Plant, renaming it and establishing it as Matto Nippon Seiki Co.,Ltd.
Jun. 1973 N.S. Electronics Co., Ltd in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.
