-Under development -Offers smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth and other wireless communication networks. -Displays navigation information from smartphone applications (right corner of the center photo)

Info Extender Unit (It can provide vehicle information, location and attitude)

-Under development

Smart Adapter W (Wireless adapter for linking to smartphone for after market)

Future cockpit concept "Heart-to-Heart communication cockpit"

-Next-generation cockpit concept for autonomous vehicles, which will be assisted by advanced cloud computing and expected to become popular around 2025. -Cockpit module that can foresee and understand human feeling and can offer most useful information.

Information system in cooperation with biological information

-Self-adjusting seats that can automatically adjust the seating position depending on the driver’s face and body-size information. -Automatically controls information to be shown on right and left displays and also controls feedback to vehicle control depending on the driver’s face orientation. -Wearable pulse sensor (wristwatch) monitors the driver’s heart rate.

Switching the display mode based on driving mode 1. Self driving mode

-Nothing shown on either Small World Display (left) or On-demand Display (right) -Speed information displayed on combiner HUD

2. Automatic driving mode

-Small World Display (left) gives overhead view from outside the car

Safety system by communication

-Gives warning to the driver and switches to automatic driving mode, when pulse rate changes significantly in self-driving mode.

Information system in accordance with the situation

-Provides most needed and useful information in accordance with the situation. -When the system judges that the driver is hungry, it shows information on nearby restaurants: Small World Display shows navigation information On-demand Display shows food information
