CAMPI-TMA’s combined vehicle sales in Philippines up 7.6% YoY to 40,306 units in March 2025
Reported on April 14, 2025, a joint report released by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) revealed that vehicle sales in March 2025 rose by 7.6% YoY, reaching 40,306 units.
Of the total, commercial vehicles accounted for 31,857 units, while passenger cars made up 8,449 units.
For the first quarter of 2025, total vehicle sales stood at 117,074 units, marking a 6.8% YoY increase. Commercial vehicles continued to dominate with 92,742 units sold, while passenger car sales reached 24,332 units.
Sales of electrified vehicles reached 5,311 units in Q1/2025, comprising 4,544 HEVs, 692 BEVs, and 75 PHEVs.
Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and Ford emerged as the top-performing automotive brands in the market during the period.

CAMPI-TMA: February 2025 vehicle sales in Philippines reach 39,164 units, up 2.9%
Reported on March 20, 2025, a joint report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) showed that local vehicle sales noted a 2.9% YoY increase in February 2025 to 39,164 units.
The commercial vehicle segment recorded sales of 31,010 units, while passenger car sales reached 8,154 units.
In the first 2 months of 2025, CAMPI – TMA noted vehicle sales of 76,768 units, an increase of 6.4% YoY. Commercial vehicle sales reached 60,885 units, while passenger car sales reached 15,883 units.
In terms of electrified vehicles, sales stood at 1,816 units in February, consisting of 1,589 HEVs, 189 BEVs, and 38 PHEVs. This brought the YTD electrified vehicle sales to 3,416 units.
According to CAMPI, the local auto market was driven by supply chain stability, growing demand for EVs and autonomous vehicles, and global economic conditions.
Solutions such as artificial intelligence, sensors, and infotainment systems are expected to transform the auto industry and contribute to the overall positive sales trends for the year, said CAMPI. More consumers show preferences toward connected and personalized driving experiences, alongside sustainability and environmental concerns.

CAMPI-TMA: January 2025 vehicle sales in Philippines reach 37,604 units, up 10.4%
Reported on February 21, 2025, a joint report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) showed that local vehicle sales surged 10.4% YoY in January 2025 to reach 37,604 units.
Sales of the commercial vehicles reached 29,875 units (up 16.6% YoY), while sales of passenger cars reached 7,729 units in January, down 8.5% YoY.
According to CAMPI – TMA’s joint release, around 1,600 electrified vehicles were sold in January, consisting of 1,445 HEVs, 146 BEVs, and 9 PHEVs.
In January 2025, Toyota remained in its top position with a 48% share, followed by Mitsubishi Motors (19.6% share), Nissan (6.3% share), Suzuki (4.7%), and Ford (4.2%).
With the upcoming introduction of new models, CAMPI is confident that the 2025 annual sales target of 500,000 units is achievable.
