Summary
The Automotive Engineering Exposition 2022 (May 25-May 27, 2022) was held at the Pacifico Yokohama exhibition and convention center as the first in-person exhibition in three years. According to the organizer, the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE), the total number of registered visitors for the three days was 43,665, which was lower than the number of visitors to the event prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, which had more than 90,000 visitors, but the venue was nonetheless crowded.
This report introduces topics including FCVs, fuel cells, V2X, chargers, bearings used in electric powertrains, insulating materials, and inspection and measurement equipment.
