Summary
The Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 was held at JIEXPO in Kemayoran, Jakarta, from February 5 to 15, 2026.
It is one of Indonesia's two major international motor shows and is organized by Dyandra Promosindo. After Jakarta, the event will also be held in Surabaya and Balikpapan.
This year's theme was "Your Infinite Autotainment Experience," and a total of 62 brands exhibited, including 36 four-wheeled vehicle brands and 26 two-wheeled vehicle brands. According to the organizers, the event attracted 580,250 visitors and generated IDR 8.7 trillion (approximately JPY 81.5 billion) in sales during the period. Although the number of visitors decreased slightly from 2025, sales increased.

There had been speculation that EV prices might rise in 2026, but so far prices have remained unchanged. Instead, there is a trend towards increasing the unit price by adding value through upgrades and safety features. Even after interviewing various companies at the exhibition venue, the author did not hear of any plans to pass on the reduction in preferential tax treatment to product prices.
