The annual Conference and Exhibition of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineers (SAECCE 2020) was held at the Shanghai Jiading Automobile Exhibition Center from October 27th to 29th, 2020. The event is a technology exchange and exhibition platform widely recognized in the automotive industry. It has been successfully held 26 times to date.
As regulations on pollutants and CO2 emissions become more stringent by the day, there is an increasing interest in the energy conservation and emissions reduction of commercial vehicles (CVs), which play an important role in road transportation. “New Energy Vehicle Technologies and the Electrification of Commercial Vehicles" is an effective way to achieve this goal. This report summarizes and introduces the views of the Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Cummins among several presentations that touched upon the subject of the electrification of commercial vehicles.
