- A Comeback of the Interchangeable Battery?

Despite the fact that electric vehicles often take hours to charge, the concept of the swappable battery was thought to be a thing of the past, as previous attempts to launch these batteries on the market had failed. Now China is giving a new boost to the swapping system and swap stations for vehicle batteries are spreading throughout the country. Here the batteries can be replaced as quickly as filling a conventional car with gasoline. The system could catch on in Europe, but there are a number of obstacles to overcome.
