GM idles 1,300 workers temporarily at Factory ZERO as EV demand drops
On March 30, General Motors confirmed that it has temporarily laid off 1,300 workers at its Factory ZERO EV plant less than three months after a mass layoff and reduction to a single shift.
Workers at the plant were laid off March 16 and are set to return April 13 as EV demand decreases. GM in October announced plans
