Ford, Unifor labor union kick off contract talks in Canada
On June 22, Ford Motor Co. and Unifor, the union representing nearly 19,000 Canadian autoworkers, kicked off contract talks for a new three-year contract. Ford, chosen by the union to lead the pattern agreement bargaining process, will begin to hammer out a new agreement before the current one expires in September.
