GM, LGES to supply LFP batteries from Spring Hill plant to energy storage customers
Ultium Cells LLC will rehire about 700 workers who were temporarily laid off in January at its Spring Hill, Tennessee, plant to start production of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, for grid and data center customers in April, according to Tom Gallagher, vice president of operations for Ultium Cells.
