History

1961	Gabriel India (the Group's flagship company) was founded in Mumbai for the manufacture of shock absorbers.
1962	The manufacturing operations of Victor Gaskets India commenced in Mumbai.
1972	Victor Gaskets India's Mumbai facility was relocated to Nashik
1992	Chang Yun India Limited was established in collaboration with CY Myutec, Korea (earlier Chang Yun of Korea) for manufacture of synchronizer rings for the automotive industry.
1993	Spicer India Limited was established for the manufacture of axles, driveshafts and universal joints.
1995	Ansysco was established. Ansysco is located in Parwanoo. The Company manufactures Radiator Coolant, PVC Adhesive, Waxes, Coolant Reservoir bottle and Direct Glazing Adhesive cartridges.
1997	Henkel Teroson India Limited was established at Gurgaon (Haryana) in collaboration with Henkel Teroson GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henkel KGaA, Germany. The Company manufactures adhesives, automotive sealants, radiator coolants, coatings and a NVH range of products.
1997	EMCON Technologies India Private Limited was established. EMCON manufactures Exhaust Muffler assemblies, Catalytic converters, Instrument Panel Reinforcement assemblies (IPRT) and Door Side Impact Beams (SIB). The Company is a joint venture between Anand and Emcon Technologies, USA.
1997	Mando Brake Systems India Limited, located at Chennai, was established in collaboration with Mando Machinery Corporation, Korea.
1997	Valeo Friction Materials India Limited was established. Valeo Friction is a joint venture between Anand Automotive Systems and Valeo of France for the manufacture of non-asbestos, solvent and lead-free clutch facings with the latest Valeo Technology.
Dec. 1997	Behr India Limited established for the manufacture of automotive air conditioning systems near Pune. The Company is a joint venture between Anand Automotive Systems and Behr of Germany.
1998	Victor Gaskets India's Mumbai facility was relocated to Chakan, near Pune.
1998	Haldex India Limited was established. It manufactures manual and automatic slack adjusters for air brakes of commercial vehicles. The Company has a collaboration with Haldex AB of Sweden
2005	Mahle Filter Systems India was formed as a result of the merger of the operations of Purolator India and Mahle Filter Systems India. It is a joint venture between Anand Automotive Systems and the Mahle Group.
Jan. 2009	Takata India Private Limited was established as a joint venture with Joyson Safety Systems.
Oct. 2012	The Group acquired a 26% stake in Mando India Steering Systems Private Limited
Feb. 2013	The Group and Mando agreed to merge its two joint ventures, Mando Steering Systems India Limited and Mando India Limited to form Mando Automotive India Limited
Mar. 2015	Converted the Company's sealing and piston ring businesses into joint venture operations with Federal-Mogul. The new joint ventures are Federal-Mogul Anand Sealings India Limited and Anand I-Power Limited.
Jan. 2017	Ansysco Anand and SEIKEN CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CO.,LTD., Japan announced a TAA for Coolant and Brake Fluids
Mar. 2017	Gabriel India signed a TAA with TORRE for shock absorbers, MacPherson struts, strut cartridges
Feb. 2020	Anand Group announced partnership with MAZARO, Belgium for clean mobility and FAR-UK for carbon fiber composites.
Jul. 2021	Set up joint venture with Mando Corporation called ANAND Mando eMobility
Oct. 2021	conducted plant inauguration ceremony at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan
May 2023	Set up joint venture with Inalfa Roof Systems, Netherlands called Inalfa Gabriel Sunroof Systems Pvt. Ltd.
Jul. 2023	Established a new company "ANEVOLVE HEADSPRING" with Headspring. Inaugurated the new technology center i.e., Anevolve Headspring Engineering Centre (ANHS) in Gurugram.
Jul. 2023	Established Gabriel Europe Engineering Centre (G.E.E.C.) as a wholly owned subsidiary
Mar. 2024	Anand Group India opened the Anand CY Myutec Automotive Private Limited (ACYM) Bhiwadi Plant
