Gabriel India Limited-In the FY ended March 31, 2012, the Company enhanced its capacity substantially at the Parwanoo plant.
Spicer India Limited
-In 2011, Spicer India's plant in Chakan, Pune began operations. The primary purpose of the plant is to produce AdvanTek series gears. The facility has an annual production capacity of 240,000 gear sets and employs 100 people.
Mahle Filter Systems India Limited
-In January 2011, Mahle Filter Systems India started operations at its new filter plant in Chennai. The Chennai plant manufactures air filter systems, intake modules and cylinder head covers. The plant is also a competence center for injection molding.
Behr India Limited
-In 2011, Behr India started manufacturing at its new plants in Sanand and Chennai. The Sanand plant was constructed to manufacture HVAC units for the Tata "Nano." The Sanand plant has an annual production capacity of 225,000 HVAC assemblies. The Chennai plant was established to manufacture engine cooling modules and HVACs for Renault-Nissan. The Chennai plant can manufacture 225,000 engine cooling modules and 55,000 HVACs a year.
