Turkey passenger car sales decrease 38.4% in December, decrease 2.9% to 772,722 units in 2021
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that passenger car sales 66,505 units in December 2021 represented a decrease 38.4% over December 2020. The total sales in 2021 decreased 2.9% to 772,722 units.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were 121,254 units in 2021 (16.4% market share), Renault sales were 81,280 units (11.0% share), VW sales were 68,186 units (9.2% share), Ford sales were 67,269 units (9.1% share) and Toyota sales were 52,588 units (7.1% share).
Sales of passenger vehicles under 1,600cc decreased 12.5% YoY to 501,862units (89.3% share), gasoline-engine car increased 25.9% to 342,438 units (66.1% share) and vehicles with AT transmission decreased 1.8% to 428,252 units (76.2% share)
Turkey's production of 1,276,140 units in 2021 was down 1.7% YoY.
Imported vehicles were down 0.3% to 425,658 vehicles. Exported vehicles were up 2.2% to 937,005 units in 2021.

Turkey passenger car sales decrease 22.7% and production decreased 19.7% in November
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that passenger car sales 64,036 units in November 2021 represented a decrease 22.7% over November 2020.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales of 9,568 units in November (15.9% market share), Renault sales of 8,187 units (13.6% share), Peugeot sales of 4,999 units (8.3% share), Toyota sales of 4,662 units (7.7% share) and Citroen sales of 4,187 units (7.0% share).
Sales of passenger vehicles under 1,600cc decreased YoY to 36.5% to 37,529 units (87.3%share),
gasoline-engine car decreased 7.5% to 30,059 units (69.9% share), vehicles with AT transmission decreased 26.0% to 35,983 units (83.7% share).
Turkey's production of 115,078 units in November was down 19.7% YoY.
Imported vehicles were down 18.3% to 35,777 vehicles. Exported vehicles were down 25.4% to 75,892 units in November.

Turkey passenger car sales decrease 38.2% and production decrease 28.3% in October
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that passenger car sales 60,044 units in October 2021 represented a decrease 38.2% over October 2020.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales of 12,255 units in October (21.6% market share), Ford sales of 6,643 units (11.7% share), Renault sales of 5,191 units (9.1% share), Peugeot sales of 4,707 units (8.3% share) and VW sales of 4,439 units (7.8% share).
Sales of passenger vehicles under 1,600cc decreased 49.4% YoY to 36,108 units (89.1% share), gasoline-engine car decreased 32.3% to 25,601 units (63.2% share) and vehicles with AT transmission decreased 46.9% to 29,276 units (72.3% share).
Turkey's production of 108,078 units in October was down 28.3% YoY.
Imported vehicles were down 41.2% to 31,464 vehicles. Exported vehicles were down 16.4% to 87,027 units in October.
