Auto Shanghai 2025, officially known as the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). April 23 and 24 were press days, April 25-26 were trader days, and April 27-May 2 were days open to the public. Nearly 1,000 companies from 26 countries and regions exhibited, and more than 100 all-new models were unveiled for the first time.

At this year's show, BYD fully showcased its latest product lineup and technological capabilities. The Dynasty-D concept car, which made its world premiere, uses a "dragon" as its design motif. The mass-produced model is targeted at the CNY 400,000 class, full-size SUV market. At the same time, the new "Han L" and "Tang L" series were exhibited. Prices range from CNY 200,000 to CNY 300,000. The new flagship "Xia" MPV, which was released in January 2025, was also unveiled.

The Ocean Series featured the world premiere of the "Ocean-S" concept car, a flagship sedan that shows the future design direction of the brand. Additionally, the DM-i and EV versions of the "Sealion 06" mid-size SUV were also officially announced. The price is in the CNY 120,000 to CNY 150,000 range, and the product is scheduled to be released in the second quarter (Q2) of 2025. The fully remodeled "Seal 06” mid-size electric sedan was also unveiled. It is scheduled for release in Q2 of 2025.

The Denza brand held the world premiere of the "Z," a sports car concept model that uses an independently developed full by-wire chassis. It will also be equipped with the industry's first magnetic fluid body smart control system "DiSus-M" exclusively for NEVs (New Energy Vehicles). The introduction of this model further enhances the Denza brand's product lineup, which ranges from MPVs to sports cars.

The Yangwang brand is unveiling the "U8L" model for the first time, and is also offering a lineup of luxury models including the "U7," "U8," and "U9," covering the price range from CNY 600,000 to CNY 2 million.

The Fangchengbao brand exhibited the “583 Family”. The new A-segment "Tai3” SUV attracted attention for its trendy, safe, and smart features. In addition, the smart sports version of the "Bao 5" and the drone-equipped version of the "Bao 8" demonstrated the company's technological capabilities in the electric off-road segment.
