The Battery Show Europe 2024, co-located with the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo event, was held at the Messe Stuttgart (Germany) venue from June, 18th to 20th , 2024.

This three-day event was organized by Informa Markets, a trading division of Informa PLC. The Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo is Europe's largest trade fair for advanced battery and electric/hybrid vehicle technology with more than 1,100 participating exhibitors in five expo halls.

At the free trade fair the latest developments in the field of battery manufacturing solutions and innovations related to battery systems, materials and components could be explored. On top of this large exhibition, visitors were provided the opportunity to attend a paid three-day conference.

This report highlights some selected novelties at this year's show and gives an impression on the latest state of the art technology related to Emobility.

The eMobility Battery Demonstrator at the booth of BASF gave visitors an impression of the company's comprehensive sustainable material portfolio for electric vehicles.

Latest innovations in regard to BEV and hydrogen fuel cell vehicle components were shown by companies, such as Diehl, Eaton, Marquardt and Röchling.

Lanxess showed how it contributes to sustainability by supporting the development of regional supply chains for battery materials in Europe.

And Valmet Automotive showed a battery system concept of a compact, scalable, and competitively priced solution for the electrification of truck, bus and off-highway segments.

In 2025 the event will be held in Stuttgart again from June, 3rd to 5th.
