  The 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2024) was held at the China International Exhibition Center from April 25 to May 4. Of these, April 25-26 were press days, April 27-28 were industry days, and April 29-May 4 were open to the public. This was the first time in four years that the event was held in Beijing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Auto China 2024 was attended by many well-known domestic and international automakers, suppliers and technology companies, and covered a total area of 220,000 square meters, showcasing 117 world premiere models, 41 concept cars and 278 NEV models.

  The booths of brands under the BYD Auto Co. Ltd. (BYD Group) umbrella were packed with people. Three Ocean series models were exhibited: the Ocean-M, the company’s first two-box rear-wheel drive EV concept model; the Seal 06 DM-i, a mid-size sedan; and the Sea Lion 07 EV, a mid-size SUV. The entire lineup of the Dynasty series was also on display, including BYD's unveiling of the Qin L, a new model that fills a gap in the mid-size sedan market. The Yangwang brand unveiled the U7, a CNY 1 million class flagship sedan, introducing it as the first model to feature BYD's DiSus-Z intelligent body control system technology. The Denza brand also held the world premiere of the Z9 GT, a D-segment luxury flagship sedan. The Fangchengbao brand made its first appearance at the motor show and exhibited the "583 family” consisting of the Bao 5, Bao 8, and Bao 3, as well as the Super 9 sports car concept model.
